Recipes You Can Make In Your Blender

1. Homemade Nutella

Making your own homemade Nutella means that you can get rid of some of the yucky stuff that’s in the store-bought product.

If you do have a Blendtec, I recommend getting the twister jar because the consistency is a little bit thick. That being said, you can make it in the traditional jar as well, just make sure you scrape it down often.

The recipe can be found at Just Putzing Around the Kitchen.

2. Grinding Grains

Turning things such as wheat berries and whole almonds into flour is easy to do with the higher powered blenders.

I enjoy making homemade almond flower because in the process you can also make almond milk.

Even better with the newer blenders is that you can push a button and walk away, letting it finish on its own.

This particular recipe covers all of the grains that you see above. When you go to the site, you will see a sheet to tell you exactly what you need to do.

3. Almond Milk

You can find the recipe over at how does she.

I have said it before, and I will say it again: Nice cream is one of the best recipes I have ever decided to try. My daughter swears by it, and we make it at least once a year for breakfast so she can go to school and tell everyone that she had nice cream.

22. Corn Chowder

29 Interesting Recipes You Can Make in Your Blender (19)

Corn Chowder is one of my favorite recipes because it is so soothing and it reminds me of my childhood. While my mother never made chowders, I would attend a festival in our hometown each year, riding my bike up to the park to get a bowl of the good stuff.

Naturally, to keep the chunkiness of the corn, you don’t blend it all at once. Instead, you add the thicker ingredients into the smooth ones at the end.

The recipe can be found at Cooking Classy.

27. Bread

29 Interesting Recipes You Can Make in Your Blender (24)

I love this picture because it shows you the machine hands on. I’m a bit starry-eyed over the whole thing. It makes me want to pull my wallet out now!

Back in the day, I purchased a bread machine from a yard sale. I decided within the first couple of batches that it wasn’t something I would spend money on when the machine broke down. I felt like my Kitchen Aid can do just as good of a job.

The Snarky Vegan must feel similarly because she did all of the work for her bread right there in the machine, leaving the last two steps (let it rise in the pan and baking) to do “hands-on.”

28. Fruit and Vegetable Gummies

29 Interesting Recipes You Can Make in Your Blender (25)

If you struggle with your kids eating healthy food, here’s a sneaky way to get them down. My daughter says that my fruit roll-ups and gummies are not like the store bought stuff and yet she still eats them- even when I sneak vegetables in!

I, personally, would opt for honey or sugar instead of agave syrup. For this post, you can choose if you want to watch The Stay-at-Home Chef’s YouTube video or her blog post.

29. Baby Food

29 Interesting Recipes You Can Make in Your Blender (26)

There are so many great baby food products out there. My only concern with it is that babies only stay babies for a short time and then you’ve spent a hundred dollars or more on a product that, unless you plan on having a couple of more little ones, you don’t have any more use for. While you can sell it and reap some of the money you spent, why not purchase something that you can use over and over?

These blenders are designed to give smoothness to the ingredients, making it perfect for baby food and beyond.

Conclusion to Recipes You Can Make in Your Blender

Now that you have seen how versatile this power horse will be in my kitchen, I hope you also see just exactly why it would be good to have one in your kitchen as well. If you have a powerful blender and make some great stuff, please share your recipes!
