Why jalebi become flat

Our homemade jalebi often turns flat, because of two reasons either the oil is not hot enough or your batter is too runny to form a proper jalebi shape.

Tips to make instant jalebi recipe

  • Batter Consistency :To make the best crispy jalebi we need thick free-flowing batter, if your batter is too runny you can easily fix it by adding a proportional amount of all-purpose flour, cornflour, baking soda, yoghurt, and water.
  • Oil Temperature : For homemade jalebi at first, melt the ghee on medium flame, now to make a proper spiral shape pour the batter in low flame, then increases the heat to medium to high to make properly crispy jalebis.
  • Colour :In instant jalebi recipe, we use a pinch of food colour for proper textures, otherwise you can use turmeric powder.
